How To Take a Screenshot on a PC

Depending on your PC, press the “Prt Sc” or “PrtScn” button. If that doesn’t work, you might have to also press SHIFT or FN. This will take a shot of your entire screen and save it to your clipboard. Go to your favorite editing program and simultaneously press CONTROL and V to paste the screenshot image. Save as a JPEG or PNG, give it a basic but descriptive name and send it on over! Pro Tip: You can also use a specialized screen capture program to quickly take a screenshot of just an area of the screen. We recommend Lightscreen (or Lightscreen Portable for USB drives).

How To Take a Screenshot on a Mac

Simultaneously press the Command, Shift and 4 keys. Click, hold and drag the cursor around the area you’d like to share with us. Once you release, the screenshot will appear on your desktop. Change the name to something basic but descriptive and send it on over! View a video tutorial
